Getting started
Keys
Get a key, enter it, and what the rules around it are.
Lumen runs with a license key. A key looks like this:
LUMEN-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
Get a free key
Join the Lumen Discord, then open a direct message with the Lumen Auth bot and run:
/freekey
It replies with a key that lasts 12 hours. You can ask for another one 12 hours after the last.
Use a premium key
Premium keys come from authorized resellers; the list is in the Discord. Claim it in a direct message with the Lumen Auth bot:
/redeem key:LUMEN-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
If you already hold a key, redeeming another one adds its time to the one you have.
Enter the key
Open the launcher, paste the key into Enter your key and log in. The launcher remembers you after that, so you only do this once.
Check your keys
/status
lists your keys and when each one expires. /download sends you a fresh link to the installer.
The rules
- A key works on one PC at a time. If you change PCs, send the bot
/resethwid key:LUMEN-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX, then log in on the new one. You can do this once a day per key; the old PC gets logged out. - A key’s time starts counting when it is redeemed, whether or not you are playing.
- Do not share or resell a key. Shared keys get revoked and the PC can be banned. See the Terms of Service.
